Mont Boron

Mont Boron is a wooded hill of 57 hectares closing off the east side of the port, rising to almost 200 metres. The summit still has an 1887 gun battery and, further north, the Fort du Mont Alban has watched over the bay since the 16th century; both are now natural areas crossed by some ten kilometres of trails. The buildings mix Belle Époque villas on Avenue des Hespérides and Boulevard du Mont-Boron, upscale 1960s-70s residences built for the view, and contemporary villas on the eastern slope.

This is an almost entirely residential neighbourhood: no shopping street, with errands done on Boulevard Carnot or at the port. Here you're buying silence, forest, and a view over two bays, the Baie des Anges and Villefranche, priced at what it's worth.
