Cap de Nice extends Mont Boron towards Villefranche, between Boulevard Franck-Pilatte, which follows the sea along the corniche, Avenue Jean-Lorrain and Boulevard Maeterlinck, named after the writer, once the owner of the 1920s palace now a private residence. This is the most exclusive part of the city: contemporary villas with direct sea access, and grand upscale 1960s-70s residences with a pool and a full view over the bay.
There is practically no shopping: the neighbourhood is purely residential and relies on the foot of Mont Boron and the port for everyday needs. In return, the coastal path, the rocky coves and the Réserve offer swimming that few addresses in Nice can claim right from their doorstep.
